I have had decades of experience, having repaired every kind of window and door and dealt with countless examples of wear and tear. I also have the right tools for the job, as well as access to quality spare parts.

My door keeps creaking. Why does this happen?

Doors creak or squeak when wood rubs up against wood. It’s a common issue in older properties. If the noise is coming from hinges, oiling them will solve the problem. Otherwise, more extreme measures will likely be needed.

How do I fix the track for my sliding door? It’s past its use-by date.

Adding lubricant—such as (The Good Oil ), which is an all natural lubricant —might help to make the sliding a little less resistant and a little less excruciating to listen to. It’s only a short-term solution.
